Pink on pink on pink flowered birthday card

Another girlie pink card again today (my favourite in case you haven't noticed). This uses the Botanical Blooms stamp set (one of the free sets available with a £45 purchase just for the rest of this month - see here for more details).

The corner rounder punch was used on every corner on this card - may seem too much, but I like it. I used Rose Red cardstock for the base and added a mat of the pale pink spotted paper from the Sweet Always collection of Designer Series Paper (this is the one with a bird in one corner). The outline flower was stamped in Rose Red ink onto Whisper White card and using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped the centres of the flowers with Regal Rose ink. The outline flower (without a centre) was also stamped in Versamark onto the darker pink paper from the same Sweet Always collection and it was embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Occasional Greetings stamp set with Rose Red ink onto Whisper White card. Ruby red brads from the Earth Elements collection were pushed through the sentiment before attaching it with dimensionals to the card.

Have a great weekend.
