New baby card in pink and blue colourways

I decided to have a last go for the Stamp With Us DT call. This time I opted to make a baby card for a colleague at work and as I don't know whether she's having a boy or a girl, I've prepared for either (it'll be back to the drawing board if she's having twins though).

Just to remind you, the recipe is:

2 x patterned paper
1 x ribbon
4 x brads

And here are the cards. I've used the same materials for each - just varied the colours.

Recipe
Stamp set: Fun and Fast Notes
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy/Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Whisper White
DSP: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy (NQN from level 1 hostess gift)/Sweet Always, Rose Red
Ink: Basic Grey, Markers
Brads: Not Quite Navy/Rose Red
Taffeta Ribbon: Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink

I matted the card blanks with the DSPs. The pram was stamped once onto Whisper White card and then outlined with a marker (to leave off the dotty spots you usually have on the pram) and stamped again onto the lighter DSP. The prams were paper pieced and brads added. I cut a frame from the darker cardstock and made a ribbon frame following an older Try a New Technique challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. The frames were popped up with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx

Ooh they're lovely, I really like the way you've used the brads & the ribbon, you must be in with a good chance of the DT - I keep trying too, but don't think I can compete!

All the best
